Appearances
Playtest 2 (Pre-Launch) — Atlas v Bromir
Warforged built by a monastery of priests to defend “the bulwark of justice.” Abjuration engine (arcane ward), shield master, longsword, a siege engine on his back; casts spells (steel wind strike, tidal wave, mold earth, passwall, disintegrate, Tenser’s transformation, channel divinity Rebuke Violence). Speaks of himself in the third person: “Atlas is unbreakable.” Signature pose honoring the Grandmaster with an orb of light bearing her face. Summons Halifax. A tiny engraving somewhere on him reads “Nokia” (player joke, 1:56:18). Winner of Reaper’s Rock; sent home to fulfill his charge; promised a return.
S5E1 — Rise of the Lord of Fate — Atlas v Killy Yesman
(Dag). A large robot.
- Body:
- Heavy iron boots, gyros and an ejecting chassis.
- Floating fists the size of goblins, which work gyroscopically, by magnetic repulsion and with rocket turbines.
- Four eye sockets and a faceplate. Electricity turns yellow when he’s charged.
- A chest window that plays audio clips (“your mother,” “Nice hat, bro”).
- An antiseptic-spray finger and a port that takes AA batteries.
- No mouth, which is “a great source of misery.” His voice runs over Bluetooth.
- Powered by a Double Sun Cola canister core.
- “Defender of the innocent, breaker of bones and bitches.” His autocorrect is aggressive. Abilities: repair protocols and Unbreakable Force.
- Gained Kenny’s missing arm (a small green goblin arm out of his sternum).
- Died after ripping out his own brain. He was carted off by goblins to be rebuilt; in Dried Blood he is being rebuilt in the locker room.
S5E11 — Appliance Adversaries — Atlas v Frigidoom
(Dag / DeadAussieGamer). A huge, lumbering automaton with grey metal plating. He is logical and formal when sober and a wrestler-voiced “brother” when radical.
- Body:
- No mouth (a very sore spot) and no nose.
- Gears and cogs inside; his heart is a canister of Double Sun Cola, which flows through his body.
- Magnetic lightning bolts run along his shoulders and arms, and a power gauntlet holds glowing cylinders that overheat for energy blasts.
- When the cola is shaken or released he becomes “radical”: a lightning mohawk that evolves into a lightning mo-mullet, orange-crackling eyes, and a sun-and-bottle emblem on his chest.
- Lore and history:
- He died in his last battle (“I saw eternity… Hell is real even for automatons”) and was brought back “because we were bored.”
- The Lord of Fate recalls him drinking a lot of Double Sun Cola.
- Was once “a tiny little toaster.”
- Has an assistant: a tiny paperclip that sasses him.
- In this episode:
- Lost a pinky.
- Traded the radical chinchilla to the Box of Chaos.
- Was made permanently radical by Frigidoom’s signature move.
- Won. He now carries Frigidoom bottled in his chest next to his heart and is collecting the fridge pieces to rebuild him.
S6 Ep2 · Ether Drifts Part 1 · TTRPG One Shot (Team A mine mission)
(player is Australian).
- Memory: “does not possess memories… fragments… familiarities acknowledged.” He says his memory banks have been corrupted many times, “like in the Dread Fortress.”
- Family (his own claim): his mother was a bucket with no eyes; his father was an engineer who gave him no mouth. He has no orifices.
- Body:
- Floating rocket fists joined to his shoulders by plasma arcs.
- Shin tank treads, later swapped for mine-cart wheels that lay their own track.
- USB ports, a sarcasm chip, and a gorilla-stance transformation with a spine cannon fed by Double Sun Cola silos.
- Powers: Unstoppable Force (sacrifices HP).
- His wit: sells “Atlas subscription services” and carries a Double Sun Cola syringe.
- Fear: staying conscious with the power off, forever.
- In this episode: updated after the aliens turned him off and on. Died gloriously (his head exploded) killing Theresa, and was being pieced back together by the GM.
S6 Ep3 — Ether Drifts Part 2 — Team A deathmatch (Atlas v Robbie Clark and the Hunger v Copycat)
(guest). A robot/construct with a faceplate, huge electric fists and heavy boots. No mouth (until this fight) and no butthole: “it is a port.” He wears pants.
- He arrived “not completely built”: just boots, head and tiny arms.
- He combined with Thea as “Fatlas” (“Phatlas,” per Copycat).
- Abilities: Unstoppable Surge, Immovable Force; “yeet protocol”; magnetic energy.
- Says he learned about “Mateship” on planet Australia.
- Item gained: the blue pill.
- Converted by the Hunger’s spores: given feeling, a mouth and an exit port. Allied with Robbie. Revived in his original form.
