Appearances
S2E8 — Father’s Love — Dadrith v Baron Voltágè
(TalesofPesh). Insists on the pronunciation (“said the exact way it’s spelt”). The family name is “Barovian.”
- Titles and build:
- “The elitist of electricity, the supplier of shock.”
- A halfling (uses the halfling Lucky trait; “manlet shoulders”).
- An artificer in transforming Iron Man-like armor with a back thruster. Has a defensive field, Flash of Genius, gloves of ogre strength and teleport boots.
- Grudge: calls Dadrith a long-standing “thorn in my side” (unexplained).
- In this episode:
- Sacrificed his “blackened soul” to the Box of Chaos for the Ring of Three Wishes. He no longer has a soul.
- Wishes used: (1) full heal, after which black goo filled his wounds and black smoke poured from his armor; (2) an 8th-level Call Lightning; (3) clone.
- Killed by heat metal underwater.
- 120 days later, a clone burst from a beached shark on the turtle, unknown to Dadrith and possibly the GM and Arbiter.
- Dried Blood epilogue: the Arbiter took Baron’s soul from the Box to his laboratory and put it in a metal automaton/golem for his army.
- The GM’s favor: she bet on him and granted him Bless.
S2 Ep19, Battle for the Crown Round 2 - Team Grandmaster (Cosmonius & Locket) v Team Arbiter (Silky Slim & …
(TalesofPesh).
- Who he is: gave his soul to the Arbiter, who put it in a new robot body. He joined because “the Arbiter just offered dental.” Title: “the Electacult [?] of Electricity, the Servitor of Shock.”
- Body: a halfling inside the armor. He has a helm HUD (advantage on initiative), shoulder harpoon-syringe, electro gauntlets, lightning rod, boot thrusters and a VTOL-style back jet. He no longer has lungs.
- Abilities: artificer shield, Flash of Genius, haste, Enlarge, Lightning Bolt, Fly, Call Lightning, Ashardalon’s Stride.
- Personality: tried rebranding from cackling to “servitor noises,” then went back to screaming.
- In this episode: fell to the altar, woke the Kraken and played dead. Revealed as a slimy, disfigured baby with one cybernetic arm. Dying words condemn the Grandmaster and Arbiter “bicker[ing] over something as trivial as a throne while gambling with our lives.” Last words: “Why the long face?”
