S2E17 — Fate of the Arbiter - The Hall of Fates — Toddleheim, Locket and Flynry reach the Grandmaster

S2E20 — Battle for the Crown Round 3 — Flynry & Prof. Stabbz v Thornabub & Mcswiggins
(BDTeej), Team Grandmaster.
- Background:
- A large monk/pugilist with no weapons.
- A traveler who never had a home.
- Writes poetry chronicling his journey with Locket and Toddleheim, on the Grandmaster’s behalf and “pursuing the Arbiter.”
- Has been to the Eastern Outpost temple “with Orin.”

Into the Mirror, Session 1 (YouTube Parts 1–6 - Flynry Dies, Flynry Wakes, Flynry Walks, Survivors, Reflect…
(BdTeej).
- Died in the Battle for the Crown, hit by a meteor while fighting for the Grandmaster.
- Has a beast form; in the desert he over-shifts into something more animal. Uses claws, unarmed strikes, flurry and Inflict Wounds.
- Hulking and bearded. Nomadic, never had a home, and home is his theme. Not a center-of-attention guy. Can’t dance.
- Carries memories of a dream life he never lived: retired from the Grandmaster’s service after winning the Battle for the Crown with Prof. Stabbz, honored and given a place in her court, wife Lillian, son Orin, a village home.
- Pulled a blue-flame greatsword from the sand. It cooled to a mirror finish, has “truth” inscribed in gold, guides his travel, and now burns with aqua flame.
- Wandered the desert for years or decades (by his reckoning) before his friends arrived.
- Inferred: he is in the plane where the mirror-taken piece of his soul went (from the Arbiter’s 1:33:11 line and the shared desert).
Into the Mirror 7–9 - Claws of Sand, Shifting Sands, Hourglass (session 2)
(BdTeej)
- Trapped in the Sands of Eternity for what feels like years to him; months for his friends.
- Appearance has changed: different hair color and stature, grayer, no longer has his very large beard, changed voice. He wears a rich black cloak and armor “of the sand.”
- In the sword he still sees his old self: velvet cloak, slightly beastish visage, long brunette hair and beard.
- Used to fight with his fists. Now wields Truth, a mirror shaped like a greatsword, which burns with aqua flame and turns the sand creatures to glass.
- Resistant to poison.
- Has battled “a certain form of psychosis.” His origins here are “based on lies,” so he doubts this reunion is real.
- Says he “was engulfed in flame and death” to get here.
- Bought a wooden spoon for Frank the chef before leaving home base.
- Fights with new acrobatic grace.

- He wears it on a backboard sheath with a cup for the point.
- He has a beast-like side (“primitive beast-like roots from the real world”) and partially shifted in grief.
- He can sometimes manipulate the sand, but uncontrollably.
- He keeps a quarter-sized soul gem fragment from the first sand minotaur.
- Toddleheim is “his best friend, number one.” He holds Cerys responsible for Locket’s death.
- He remembers Kenny’s gambling game from his first day.
Into the Mirror Session 4 (YouTube parts 12–13) - Royal Audience and Otherside
(BdTeej).
- Has been in the waste for possibly a hundred years or more. He ate for the first time in ages and found he could taste.
- Distrusts Cerys. Calls Toddleheim “old friend.”
- Wears Elianna’s glass remembrance stone on a leather strap around his neck.
- His sword ignites in the mirror realm but has lost its compass quality. His sand powers don’t work on snow.
- Fights with greatsword and monk strikes, and cast the Kenny illusion.
- Remembers causing Toddleheim and Locket distress in an earlier hall of mirrors, and that they saved him.
Into the Mirror 14 — The Scholar

- Knows Elvish.
- Woke up somewhere else in this desert-dream realm when he first arrived, which he describes as a dream, trance or hell.
- Wary of touching arcane items (“We all know what the king looked like”).
- Newly impressed by Cerys’s combat prowess.
- Wakes the young Arbiter from his trance with a touch on the shoulder.
Into the Mirror 15–16, Old Friends - Sky
(BdTeej)
- History: Has known the Arbiter longer than the others; the Arbiter says he “didn’t kill” him. He blames the Arbiter for killing his friends, betraying all he knew, and “my loss.” The Arbiter mentions “the meteor” and a new hairstyle.
- Time in the Sands: has been in the Sands a long and painful time.
- Gear: carries the sword of truth, which shows Vythorn his true (full-power) self and can ignite with cerulean, sand-colored flame.
- Character: strong, showy and prickly. Fights hand-to-hand with Flurry of Blows. Swore the party’s protection to Cerys in a blood oath. Downed by the orc, healed back up.

- Knows from “the large book” about the Golden Lady statue and an eye-shaped pendant with a red gem.
