S7E6 — Bone Force — Jerry Bonesman v TD
(Kyle). “Bones Man, not Bones Min.”
- Who he is:
- A skeleton in glowing purple and dark cobalt robes with leather gauntlets. Ossified horns; a necrotic mist of tiny grasping hands follows him.
- No eyes, no glowing orbs, no brain (“all bones, no brain”). Wisdom −1.
- A “punch skeleton” pugilist (moxie, haymaker, fisticuffs, brace, Dread Hand) with “black magic”/eldritch invocations: Evil Eye, Armor of Agathys, Otherworldly Walk, Misty Step, Bane, Form of Dread, Frightful Avatar.
- His cause: wants revenge on adventurers who kill level-one skeletons; “too many of my skeleton brothers are dead.” He keeps a bag of things collected from low-level adventurers.
- His gods: channels “the Dreadlord / bone lord Bonar” and, in this fight, Seavold.
- In this episode:
- Sacrificed his shattered wrist and hand to the Box of Chaos and got a wand of polymorph (seven charges) made from a large animal femur.
- Turned Thea into a T-Rex. Became “the Great Bones Man.”
- Offered to be Seavold’s knight protecting all undead and was rejected.
- Realized “have I become the thing I was fighting against?” He passed the torch to TD and died as dust.
