Appearances
S6E1 — Murder at the Dread Fortress (TTRPG Murder Mystery)
. “Richard Skeleton Skelman,” “Dungeon Designer and Keeper of the Year,” from a long line of Skelmans.
- A skeleton, “one quarter of a guy.” He was resurrected without his clothes. He doesn’t remember his own murder but knows he was murdered.
- His voice and thought come from his magical bone, his big toe.
- His dungeon application was rejected for an overblown bone budget, with an insulting imp messenger.
- He uses Tim and the Poopshoe chutes (“leaky”) in his dungeons, and imports monsters from China. He wants to hire Bunga for a butter trap.
- He noticed Thea’s body first.
- Fired a rocket at the Arbiter, which was thrown back as a homing missile. He is reduced to a skull and his toe, which Dr. Octo stuck to a femur.
S6 Ep4 — Tip to Tip - Part 1 (TTRPG One Shot)
(Joel). A skeleton; “Richard,” “Dick.”
- Known to the Grandmaster and “beloved by the fortress.”
- Has no eyeballs and sees by echolocation (chattering his teeth). His bones are held by “magnets” and detach at will. No feeling.
- Buried his lover Josephine alive in the family plot.
- Makes dungeons for a living, a business passed down from his lich grandfather. Signature move the Bone Zone; builds the Bonetron.
- Family: mother Meredith (said “Bertha” first); Auntie Ethel (a ghost; he ruined a dinner once); sister Dick Arena; a lich grandfather with “plenty of other grandchildren.” “We’re all dicks. That’s the family name.”
- Keeps a gelatinous cube friend on him. Likes pie.
- Says he solved a murder mystery involving Thea (“a real proper dick on that case”).
- Leaves carrying Josephine’s arm and his grandfather’s rib.
S6E5, Tip to Tip - Part 2 (Richard Knottley v Richard S. Skelman, the leadership Deathmatch)
(“Skelly,” “Skelvin” to Thea).
- Background:
- An old, dead skeleton who has “existed as a skeleton for a millennia” and has been “this way for thousands of years,” trying to ascend.
- His grandfather is buried at the mausoleum; Team B killed him “again” last time.
- Has “buried so many.” The zombie arm/hand he carries may be his ex-girlfriend’s (“maybe”; plotline unresolved).
- Never went to high school prom: “nobody asked me.”
- Remembers merging with Knottley into “one giant body” last time.
- Francis:
- A gelatinous-cube “jelly slime friend” that holds his bones together. He gets a new one “about every week.”
- Francis waves with pseudopods and saved Skelman’s life in Round 5.
- The bone zone / danger dungeon:
- A space he can expand into. He “owns” it and subcontracts its work: the statue and his trap-setting “lackeys.”
- Personality:
- Holds firm opinions on ethics (prom with a minor, possession and charm spells as “inherently evil”).
- Hates cardio. Played Captain Falcon “on my N64 days, back when I had flesh and bone.”
- This episode:
- Got the Shield of the Golden King, smelted into golden dice; they shattered on his first defense.
- Won and became leader of Team B, renamed “Team D” (for dicks), though he now regrets not choosing “Dick Dynasty.”
