S7E4 — The Cheese — Sila v Ol’ Pumpernicklejack
(Seum). Pronounced “Sheila” at the table.
- Body and dress: a talking rat, an inch shorter than Jack. Blue scarf, britches, jacket. Runs on four legs, nose to the ground.
- Skills (as played): rogue-like (thieves’ tools, Uncanny Dodge, cunning action), dull daggers.
- Lore:
- From a guild of rats who like to disguise themselves; her thievery is about uncovering who is behind what.
- Searching for “the cheese,” whether it kills her or not.
- Her best friend Chuck the Cheese vanished in a game of hide and go seek; she had searched for years.
- In this episode: she dug up graves, used Chuck’s corpse as poison and his coffin as a raft, and invited Jack aboard (“I never promised I was trying to kill him”). She was killed in Emmery’s Tavern. Her last wish, “Cover me in cheese,” was granted by Emery’s fondue. Dried Blood titles: “Sila the shit,” “Sila the cheese.”
