Appearances
S5E8 — Graveyard Grudge — Granny Edith v Teddy Oso
(Chunk / PerceptionStudio). “Mr. Teddy Oso” (Jr. “the third” or “the second”; his father named him).
- Background:
- A survivor of the zombie apocalypse who has killed “12,000 maybe” zombies (canon range 7–12,000).
- He shot his own zombified grandma in the face and carried her head as a shrunken-head memento, until he sacrificed it to the Box.
- Kit:
- A shotgun he calls “17”-round; he uses the stock as a golf club and the barrel to drink from. “Not an expert on guns.”
- A little axe, lost stuck in Granny’s rolling pin.
- Endless sugar-free vegan energy drinks. His blood is “like 90% energy drink.”
- Takes blood pressure medication.
- Signature move: “Leave Him in the Dust.” A motorcycle appears from nowhere.
- Weakness: can’t refuse delicious-looking food (the Granny Smith apple).
- Has “beef” with Thea. Enjoyed beating up an old person.
- In this episode: died in the lava with a thumbs-up.
S5E15 — Cosmic Collision — Teddy Oso v Ragu
. Apocalypse survivor and zombie fighter with a shotgun and an axe (blurb).
- His zombie count rose from 12,000 (“last time”) to “the 30,000 range,” and Thea counts this kill as 30,001.
- Bitten on the right knee by a zombie (bandaged). He eats a tiny raw piece of every zombie he kills to build immunity: about 40–50 people’s worth, from the thumb muscle, butt cheeks or shoulder.
- Rides a motorcycle. Girlfriends Susie and Betty, one of them a zombie. Says not all zombies are violent; some just want to be loved.
- His wife is a zombie (“she is now”).
- Never closes his eyes when hit. Signature moves: the casual hip pose, the drum-major shotgun flip, the golf-swing uppercut.
- Uncle “Nipple” (“Hairy nipple was my uncle”).
- He used his heroic surge to learn an extra action from “a little book.”
- Keeps the chinchilla in his jacket pocket. Won the 1998 Chevy Impala. Concessions sell Teddy Oso shotguns.
- In Dried Blood he says he lost last time “to an old lady” and reads The Secret.
