Fil (Philomena) is the God of Fate, a true god far more powerful than the Grandmaster, the Arbiter, or anything in D&D lore, and an existential threat.

  • Fil’s realm, and the Ruins of Giant’s Breath, lie outside all material planes, the Void included.
  • In Vythorn’s Return, Fil sidetracked the Arbiter’s escaping soul and sent him after the Testaments of Morir’s Cataclysm, a tome of great power and destruction.
  • The twins of Season 4 hate the God of Fate.
  • The “something big that could kill us all” in Pieces of a King is Fil.
  • The Arbiter has told the Grandmaster what he went through and about the threat Fil poses. The Season of Vigilance (Season 7) is a hint at Fil.
  • Whether Fil is one of many gods, or using a royal “we,” is unknown.

Everything below is compiled from the episode pages, in show order.

  • She speaks as “we” throughout (the identity of the others is unstated).
