Thea is The Arbiter’s small, pink, impish assistant at The Dread Fortress. Voiced by Caustic Phoenix (Bec).
Not to be confused with Thea Plintos of House Plintos in Cor’thun (Skypiercer), a different character.
Who she is
- About a foot tall, pink and potato-shaped, with no neck, unimpressive wings and, surprisingly, hair (she sheds it when stressed).
- The Arbiter made her from a worm “plucked from the soil.” In his words it’s “a business relationship,” and he is not her father. She calls him Papa.
- She can’t read or write (“You know I’m illiterate”), but she opens his mail anyway.
- Her blood is teal and changes with her recent diet.
- The Fortress has “a good dental program,” and she has made a fortune from the Tooth Fairy.
- She summons champions through portals (once, a fart portal mixed with glitter).
History
- Season 5 (the Season of Fate vision): the Lord of Fate’s new assistant.
- Season 6: created for real in Murder at the Dread Fortress from the worm that “sucked up the blood of the arena.” Iris murdered her the same episode, and the Arbiter brought her back (“Just because I created her”). She was about seven weeks old by the Season 6 finale.
- Season 7: put in charge of finding champions, with mixed results. She makes her own segment, Thea Teaches, in which Claude the janitor is an evil wizard. She was stuck as a pink T-Rex after a Box of Chaos polymorph wand (S7E6–S7E7), and she vacuums up disintegrated champions and tries to piece them back together (“This is going to be my greatest puzzle”).
Quotes
- “If you just let people think you’re stupid, you don’t have to be in charge of anything.”
- “I volunteer as tribute.”
- “Triple pay for everyone!”
Everything below is compiled from the episode pages, in show order.
